The DIY begins

So over the past few weekends and those leading up to the wedding I am ticking off the things that needed to be done DIY.  Heidi is going to get stuck in with me (when we stop shopping and just do work - he he he) but for now slowly but surely things are coming together.
My next trip to Durban will be in August for a whistle stop and rush around for a hair and make-up trial too. here is a snippet of the DIY I have been doing... I am loving it!

Brrrr its getting cold in JHB

So its been a while since I did an update! Boy oh boy is it getting cold here in Jhb, my hands are freezing actually as I type. Sven and I have been really busy the last couple of weeks since getting back from Durbs. Sven is frantically trying to tie up those illusive property deals and he is getting lots of positive feedback!
On my work front, we have successfully moved our  office to the Design Quarter and WOW what a building we have now! Quite a stressfull time for a lot of people but you make do with what you have I guess.
So now we can start focusing on the tasks at hand for the wedding again until we break again for a long weekend in Cape Town with Anna, Peter & baby Alex in June! We cant wait to go to CT again, its been way too long that we were there!  I am looking forward to visits to the Biscuit Mill, Franshoek and perhaps sneak in a Lamb burger or 2 at Le Quartier Français.
